WEEK OF NOVEMBER 29TH: CREATE A CLASS SONG BOOK


WEEK OF NOVEMBER 8TH: PAINTED PAPERS - 1st and 2nd graders will paint tissue and crepe papers using many different techniques and colors. Paper will then be used to create Eric Carle Art. Bubble wrap will be used for some of the textures. This is a 2 session lesson.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 4TH: Day of the Dead - colored chalk on black
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 13TH: Meet Vincent Van Gogh (video). SUNFLOWERS!!! We will also do the wash for our cities. This will be a rotation of two groups - one paints sunflowers, one washes.
WEEK OF AUGUST 30th: CITYSCAPE: Students will use oil pastels geometric lines to create a cityscape to be burnished into a washed reflection:

WEEK OF AUGUST 23RD: MARK KISTLER'S DRAWING LESSONS (scroll the pencil down for the easier lessons) Do these lessons on the projector. Be sure students are ready to go with paper and pencil. Encourage them to keep their paper straight and remind them that he never stops and waits for them so they must keep going . Have fun with this.
